I lived in many locations… Ohio, Germany, Alaska, Colorado, and Texas. I love to snow ski (learned to ski in Alaska), scuba, trampoline, horseback riding, and may outdoor adventures such as skydiving, whitewater rafting, etc.I was an eagle scout with 3 palms, and was part of the “Order of the Arrow”. My friend was leaning to play the trumpet so I decided that would be cool to do as well. I ended up playing in both the concert and jazz band in High School and created a record album (yes a real record) and I also had opportunity to play to an audience of 7,700 people, the other cool fact was that our concert band was very well practiced and we we on to win State. I was part of the hockey team when I lived in Alaska, and was a varsity wrestler in high school for my junior and senior years. I am a hands on guy and started to restore cars and put them in auto shows – I won several trophies including outstanding 4X4 for my jeep in the “Tri-State” auto show. I have restored corvettes and old convertibles and event sold one of my old mustang convertables to the ex-mayor of Dallas (Jack wilson Evans). I graduated with a degree in Physics and went on to work in the semiconductors (computer chip mfg.) for over 17 years. I started off as an engineer and then moved into the role of manufacturing manager for Texas Instruments. I also worked for Toppan, and Japanese company for over 2 years and had the chance to understand their culture better. I then worked for STMicroelectronics for 7 years – which is a French/Italian company. While at STMicroelectronics I was promoted to the position of TQM manager and given the task to go after and win the Malcolm Baldrige Nation Quality award – which we won, and because of this had the chance to meet the President in person (Bill Clinton).
In 1995 I started to get into personal development and after 2 years of that I became a trainer for Anthony Robbins, and assisted him in many events over the years – I have complete the “fire walk” 7 times, and 3 of these times was the 45 foot fire walk. In fact I meet Artemis while assisting at one of these events in Hawaii back in 1998.
Over the years I have had several business that I started, from restoring cars for profit, to doing “make ready’s” for real estate agents, and property owners, stock day trader. From these I learned a lot, but they did not give me leverage. In first part of 2002 I transitioned from working for someone else to working for myself when I came full time working with Artemis in Nu Skin. Since that time we have reach the top level of the company as Team Elites and have created a global team. Some of the skills that I to our business extend beyond the standard day to day building of the business, but also include areas like website creation. We also have a very extensive team training site that you will see once we start working together. I also edit video and audio, and have created audio products, and am considered the “Go-To-Guy”.
Living in Dallas is great, but we also own a home, with 80 acres, in the mountains of Colorado that allows a great place to get away for a while …
